Embrace Insurance Review
Embrace Insurance Reviews and Comparisons: English Bulldogs
Embrace Pet Insurance leads the pack with a unique discount plan that can save you more and more money every year. Another plus is the ability to tailor your plan to best match your budget and your English bulldog’s needs. On the downside, some have said the customer service department could use a bit of improvement, although that could be a minor hiccup when compared to all the benefits.
Customizable options are available with the standard Embrace Plan, which covers treatment for injuries and illnesses. You choose your own deductible, reimbursement levels and annual benefits. Deductibles range from $100 to $1,000; reimbursements range from 65 to 90 percent of the vet bill; annual benefit limits range from $5,000 to $15,000. There are no annual limits and deductibles apply annually, not per condition.
Another option that makes the English Bulldog insurance company stand out from the pack is its Wellness Rewards coverage. The wellness program is set up like a flexible spending account, allowing you to use an annual $250 to $650 from your account to cover annual vet visits, vaccinations and other routine care.
The unique discount plan is called the Healthy Pet Deductible, and it reduces your deductible by $50 every year your bully stays healthy without any insurance claims. Using your Wellness Rewards does not count as a claim, so you can still get routine care while enjoying the healthy pet discount. Embrace lets you pick any licensed vet of your choice.
What Does Embrace Offer English Bulldogs?
The standard Embrace Plan offers comprehensive coverage for accidents and illnesses, surgeries, emergencies, cancer treatments and a wide range of conditions common to English bulldogs. Chronic allergies and skin issues are a prime example, especially when what appears to be a simple ear infection can often erupt into a costly health issue.
One young English bulldog that started out with what appeared to be an ear infection ended up with a chronic allergy diagnosis – and vet bills totaling more than $2,700 in six months. Keep in mind that such conditions are often treated with medications, which are not covered in the standard plan.
Choosing the optional prescription medication coverage, and even optional dental coverage, may be wise for English bulldog owners due to common issues that can require treatments involving medications or your bully’s oral health.
Your English bulldog will also enjoy coverage for a generous array of alternative therapies under the standard plan. The Embrace Plan covers everything from chiropractic care to homeopathic, holistic and reiki therapies.
