Embrace Q & A
?Are there different coverage details for purebred English bulldogs and mixed breeds?
AYes. While all breeds and mixes can enroll for coverage one they are 8 weeks old, purebreds are only eligible for injury and illness coverage if they enroll before age 6. Mixed breeds are eligible to enroll for injury and illness coverage before age 8.
?Does that mean my purebred English bulldog will lose coverage for illness when he gets older than 6?
ANo. If your purebred pup has an existing accident and illness policy before age 6, that coverage will continue as he gets older as long as you regularly renew your policy.
?What alternative therapies are covered with the standard Embrace Plan?
AThe Embrace Plan covers chiropractic care, acupuncture and electro acupuncture, the use of electromagnets in BICOM therapy, therapeutic laser treatment, oxygen treatments known as hyperbarics, massage therapy, reiki as well as homeopathic and holistic therapies.
?Why might my English bulldog need alternative therapies?
AIn addition to helping to speed up recovery after surgery, alternative therapies can be extremely helpful for a number of conditions common to English bulldogs. Some of these include hip dysplasia, arthritis and degenerative joint diseases, and skin conditions.
